Who we are
Wordfetti is a strategic communications and copywriting house dedicated to helping great brands stand out in their industry through the understanding of consumer psychology and words. We believe in being good humans, not settling for mediocre, being driven by curiosity, and seeing each of our client projects as an experience and an honour, as opposed to a transaction.
We are a small yet close-knitted team with a myriad of talents and experience and we are rapidly growing. Hence why you are reading this now.
Because of our growth, we are on the hunt for a gun Copywriter (read: if you had to google what that is, we’re probably not the right fit) to join our Wordfetti train and craft bullet-proofing copy to our portfolio of extraordinary clients.
What you’ll do
Craft/write/edit strategic creative and addictive copy and have the understanding of how the choices of words can trigger different emotions in a reader.
Work closely with our team, our Studio Manager Caitlyn and our Word Honcho Anita on the execution of verbal brand identities, as well as the copywriting of collateral such as sales pages and websites.
Be able to run (wild) with an idea.
A 150%er, not just a 100%er. You have tenacity. You have a strong work ethic. You are a supportive team-player. You love language, linguistics, words and the understanding of consumer psychology. And you are a go-getter (someone who thinks BIG and always one step ahead).
You know how to write well - not just in a creative sense, but in a strategic sense: to get people to act, and to get people to feel something.
You are able to take on feedback, without it feeling personal.
A self-starter, proactive, solutions-focused, able to work autonomously, and enjoys delivering the creme de la creme when it comes to work and ideas. Ones that would potentially make us go - “holy guac, that is genius!”
High attention to detail skills (essential), organised, adaptable, and are able to get things done, and done well, sometimes with minimal instruction.
Has a positive contagious energy. Is friendly, supportive, ultra creative, and likes to crack a joke or 10.
A good human.
We are looking for someone who is committed to working in a team and shares the same values as us. Someone who prefers to work for a brand, instead of owning and growing their own studio or agency. This is not a role to simply go through “back log” - there is a potential of consistent ongoing work for the right person.
For extra “WOW” and XP - you may also hold agency experience, as well as have knowledge on consumer psychology, and brand strategy development.
Must be Brisbane based.
